Methods: A new Table Slide Shoulder Flexion test was developed for early assessment after proximal humeral fracture. Thirty-seven patients (1–9 weeks post-injury) performed the test twice in one day using an electronic goniometer. Reliability was analysed for two device placements (high-thoracic and mid-thoracic).

Results: The test showed good within-day test–retest reliability across both placements. Measurements were consistent, and the method was feasible and well-accepted by patients and clinicians.

Conclusion: The Table Slide Shoulder Flexion test is a reliable and practical method for early shoulder mobility assessment following proximal humeral fracture, suitable for tracking recovery and research use.
