EasyBase warranty policy

At Meloq AB, we are committed to delivering high-quality products that meet our customers' expectations. The EasyBase is covered by a limited warranty starting from the date of delivery. This warranty guarantees that the product is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.

Warranty Period

  • Standard Warranty: The EasyBase Force Plate comes with a 2-year limited warranty starting from the date of delivery and ending on the day before the 2-year anniversary of the delivery date.
  • Extended Warranty Options: If you have purchased an extended warranty, the coverage will be:
    • 3 years total if you purchased an additional 1-year warranty, starting from the date of delivery and ending on the day before the 3-year anniversary of the delivery date.
    • 5 years total if you purchased an additional 3-year warranty, starting from the date of delivery and ending on the day before the 5-year anniversary of the delivery date.

What is Covered

This warranty covers any manufacturing defects or malfunctions that occur under normal use and in accordance with our guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Electronic components: Issues related to the internal electronics, including faulty wiring, sensors, or other essential electronic parts that are defective due to manufacturing.
  • Structural integrity: Any defect in the force plate's physical structure, such as cracks or weaknesses in the material, that result from improper manufacturing processes.
  • Calibration or measurement accuracy: Faults that lead to incorrect or inconsistent measurement data caused by defects in the sensor system or internal software that affect the plate’s performance.
  • Software malfunctions: Problems directly related to the software that runs on or integrates with the force plate, including any pre-installed firmware that may cause operational issues.

The warranty ensures that if any of these issues arise under proper use, we will repair or replace the affected part or product at no cost to the customer, as outlined in the "Repair or Replacement Process" below.

What is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover the following:

  • Damages caused by improper or careless handling.
  • Damage resulting from use outside of the recommended usage parameters.
  • Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and normal wear and tear.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs.

Warranty Claims

If you believe your EasyBase Force Plate has a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, please fill out the warranty claim form on our website: Warranty Claim Form. Be sure to include a description of the issue and proof of purchase. Our support team will evaluate your claim on a case-by-case basis and determine whether the product can be repaired or needs to be replaced.

Repair or Replacement Process

  • Repairs: If the issue can be resolved by repair, Meloq AB will cover all shipping costs. Once we receive the product, we will complete the repair within 10 business days and return the item to you.
  • Replacements: If it is determined that the product needs to be replaced, we will request the damaged product to be returned to us. This helps us identify the root cause of the issue and improve our product quality. Once we confirm that the product has been handed over to the shipping carrier, we will ship a new replacement product within 7 business days.

Limitations

This warranty is only valid for the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable. Meloq AB's liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the product at its sole discretion. This warranty does not cover any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of the EasyBase.
