Abstract

This study assessed shoulder girdle variables in elite wheelchair athletes using EasyAngle® and examined the influence of a 12-week shoulder exercise program.

Shoulder ROM, strength, and posture were evaluated before and after the intervention.

Methods

Intervention study with elite wheelchair athletes. Shoulder measurements including ROM and posture were taken using EasyAngle® before and after a 12-week exercise program.

Results

Significant improvements in shoulder ROM and posture were observed following the exercise program. EasyAngle® proved reliable for tracking changes over time.

Conclusion

EasyAngle® is suitable for assessing and monitoring shoulder function in wheelchair athletes throughout rehabilitation and training programs.
