Key Finding

This study assessed the reliability and validity of different methods, including EasyAngle, for measuring shoulder internal and external rotation ROM and strength.

Abstract

This study assessed the reliability and validity of different methods, including EasyAngle, for measuring shoulder internal and external rotation ROM and strength.

The study compared various measurement approaches for shoulder assessment.

Methods

Multi-method comparison study examining shoulder internal and external rotation ROM using EasyAngle®, universal goniometer, and inclinometer in athletes.

Results

EasyAngle® demonstrated excellent reliability (ICC > 0.90) for shoulder rotation measurements. Validity was confirmed with strong correlations to reference measures.

Conclusion

EasyAngle® is a valid and reliable tool for measuring shoulder rotation ROM, with practical advantages over traditional methods.
