Key Finding
This study demonstrated that the table slide shoulder flexion test with EasyAngle® is reliable for early assessment following proximal humeral fracture.
Abstract
This study investigated the reliability of the table slide shoulder flexion test using EasyAngle® for early assessment following proximal humeral fracture.
Early assessment of shoulder ROM is important for monitoring recovery after fracture.
Methods
Reliability study with patients following proximal humeral fracture. Shoulder flexion was measured using the table slide test with EasyAngle® by multiple examiners.
Results
The table slide test with EasyAngle® demonstrated good to excellent reliability (ICC 0.85-0.94) for early assessment of shoulder flexion following fracture.
Conclusion
The table slide shoulder flexion test measured with EasyAngle® is a reliable method for early assessment of patients following proximal humeral fracture.
