Abstract
This study found that the EasyAngle® device shows excellent intra-rater reliability for measuring scapular mobility in healthy adults.
Scapular mobility assessment is important for evaluating shoulder function and identifying movement dysfunctions.
Methods
Test-retest reliability study with single examiner measuring scapular upward rotation, elevation, and protraction using EasyAngle® in healthy adults.
Results
Intra-rater reliability was excellent for all scapular movements (ICC 0.92-0.97). Standard error of measurement ranged from 2.1° to 3.4°.
Conclusion
EasyAngle® demonstrates excellent intra-rater reliability for scapular mobility assessment, making it a valuable tool for shoulder evaluation.
